Taking a detour

As we returned to Connor's room to say goodnight, we were met by the neurosurgeon and assistant. Based upon the findings on the MRI and installing the brain pressure monitor this evening, they have determined that the best course of action is to take him back to surgery now. His pressure numbers are too high and the swelling is not going down. They will remove more bone over the top of his right ear to make more room for his brain to swell in lieu of pushing against the bone. He is being prepped now, will have update once surgery is complete.
