Awake and Aware!!!
Currently due to his condition and being in ICU, Connor is not accepting any visitors at this time.
Holy crap - the sun is shining on a cloudy day in Portland!! Connor was awake and aware of everything around him when we walked in this morning at 7:45. He responded to questions with a thumbs up and even reached for his Mom's hand which was all we had hoped for during his 3 week sleep. He has fallen asleep again but has a peaceful face and is comfortable in bed sitting up. They will be doing a breathing test later this morning to get him off the ventilator and we are awaiting our morning pep talk from the neurosurgeon. More to follow today - great day so far!
