But it's a good fog
Currently due to his condition and being in ICU, Connor is not accepting any visitors at this time.
Long long days - not sure where they begin and end anymore. Today was a progressive day again for Connor with sitting in the chair and getting a tour of the entire 3rd floor ICU. He graduated from the ventilator to the trach flap which he will be utilizing for the immediate time period. The remainder of the day was spent with therapists and moving all limbs. the switched out his PIC line for a Med line and Shan participated in assisting to keep Connor calm during the procedure. Shan and I are now having to split our time individually with Connor to make certain one of us is at his side during this time period and available to assist him at all times. To say this is exhausting is a major understatement and I can feel the weight of his recovery as a daunting task.
We spent tonight with Chachi and family to celebrate his birthday and made our own birthday wishes for a complete recovery - goodnight
