F*ck the Scenic Route!

Currently due to his condition and being in ICU, Connor is not accepting any visitors at this time

As we crawl to the end of day 21 in the ICU, we are finally starting to see the end of our time in this room. Today Connor spent over 2hrs in a large chair that allowed him to get out of the bed, sit up and look out the window. Additionally he was on the trach cuff for this time period plus 5 additional hours. He started to get agitated and they moved him back to the bed where he went to sleep immediately. Later in the day he began to move around again, still off the ventilator, and actually started moving his left leg while they removed the catheter. They are removing all items that are invasive and potentials for infection as he improves. His left arm followed suit, both are weak but are moving!!

Seems like Connor is on the straight and narrow path home. He tires out. But while he's awake, he is determined to do the work necessary for getting out and getting home.

Thank you to everyone for your support. Your continued homework is appreciated.
