Super Star Status

Currently due to his condition and being in ICU, Connor is not accepting any visitors at this time.

Connor had already been in his chair and back to bed this morning before we even arrived at the hospital. He had a second great night of sleep last night, which the attending doctor, Dr Barney was looking for. Because of this, she has put in the orders to transfer him out of ICU into TRACU. Since this is the high season for trauma, he will have to wait until a bed becomes available. She said it could happen in 10 minutes or on Tuesday. It all depends upon availability.

They have started slowwwly weaning him off his meds. Also, they have cut down on checking his blood so often due to his spectacular status. And they will change his trach collar down a notch today. All in all a great assessment from the doc!

Thanks again for all the support from everyone.  It's amazing how much a cheering squad helps us.  Also, thank you to Connor's friends from camp who have sent postcards in the mail.  He was taken aback to see the pictures and hear the heartwarming words from you.  I was asked for our address from a couple people to send Connor a card.  Know that he will see and be read everything we receive.  <3
